We know life gets busy, and driving school may not always be on your mind (but safe driving always should be)! This is why we have an online curriculum that allows you to progress at your own pace, and in-car sessions are made as flexible as possible.
Is NorthStar Driving Schools’ curriculum approved by the Ministry of Transportation?
– Yes, our curriculum meets or exceeds all Ministry requirements and our license number is J6R8.
Is our in-car curriculum taught by licensed instructors?
– Yes, all of our in-car instructors are licensed by the Ministry to be Driving Instructors and carry their respective instructor licenses.
Will I be able to apply for my G2 road test in 8 months with this course?
– Yes, our BDE course packages will allow you to apply for your G2 Road Test in just 8 months instead of 12 months, as we are a Ministry-certified Drivers Education provider.
Will I receive an insurance discount once completing BDE from NorthStar Driving School?
– Many insurance companies offer discounts for completing a Beginner Driving Education course from a registered provider such as NorthStar Driving School, but individual circumstances may vary. Please contact your insurance company to confirm!
What do I need for the course?
– All that is required is a computer with speakers and internet access!
How do I book the in-car lessons?
– Once the (20 hour + 10 hour) online course is completed, we will put you in touch with one of our local licensed instructors for the remaining 10 hours in-car!
